Deletion procedure
To request the permanent deletion of your account and associated data, please follow these steps:
Send an email to the address below from the email address associated with your Covina account.
Clearly state in the subject and body of the message: 'Account deletion request'.
Provide your phone number and, if possible, your user ID to speed up processing.
Our support team will confirm deletion within 30 business days.
Deleted data
When your account is deleted, the following data will be permanently erased:
- User profile (name, phone number, email address, profile picture)
- History of alerts and reports linked to your account
- Multimedia evidence associated with your reports
- Civic Wallet balance and history
- Usage data and app preferences
Retained data
In accordance with our legal obligations and for security reasons, some data may be kept temporarily or anonymized:
- Traces of reports subject to ongoing legal proceedings: kept until the case is closed.
- Billing or transaction data: kept for 5 years in accordance with tax legislation.
- Anonymized technical logs: kept for 12 months for security and diagnostic purposes.
Processing time
Your request will be processed within a maximum of 30 business days from receipt of your email. You will receive a confirmation once deletion is complete.
